The 3rd round of the Curitibano Championship of Modified Class was held on June 18th, 2006. This round was held at the New Hobby Track, a small track in Curitiba (Capitol of Paraná).
For the 3rd time XRAY TEAM BRASIL attained top place with Fabiano Franco, and 2nd place with Flávio Salinet. XRAY is dominating the modified class.

The race format used in Curitibano Championship was the same as the Reedy Race, using heats, and the winner being the who has the most laps in all heats. Fabiano Franco from XRAY TEAM BRASIL again dominated all heats, bettering the track record and claiming TQ, too.
Flávio Salinet had some problems with his car after a huge crash he put it all together again but something was wrong. His car was fairly tricky to drive but he still claimed a 2nd place finish.
